Abstract Guidelines
The abstract of all categories must be submitted until February 28, 2024 to the form on the right.
All the abstracts will undergo peer-review process by the academic committee.
Authors will be informed if their work will be presented as an oral communication or an e-poster.
A supplement will be published in the International Journal of Caring Sciences following the Meeting.
Abstracts sent by email or are not in accordance to the guidelines will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
The abstracts cannot be edited after the submission deadline, or submitted in another event.
All research and studies in submitted abstracts that involve human subjects or experimental animals must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki.
In clinical studies, please state whether informed consent was obtained and whether the study was approved by a recognized ethics committee.
The presenting author of the abstract must be registered for the meeting and the submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the presenting author to present his/her work in-person in the session and the time assigned by the Academic Committee.
Abstract Guidelines by Category
Presentation of research projects (Education, Internationalization, Innovation, Midwifery and Nursing).
Lecturers and students can be authors of these e-posters/oral presentations.
The abstract of this category should include Background, Aim/Research question, method, results and discussion/conclusion. You will be asked to submit on the form key-words and references (up to three).
Presentation of your own organization/institution, projects, educational methods, educational / clinical procedures etc.
Lecturers and students can be authors of these oral communication/e-posters.
The abstract of this category should include project or/and didactic method information, implication and evaluation/ discussion/conclusion.
Presentation of your experiences, research activities, thesis, projects, educational or clinical cases/procedures, etc.
One of the authors must be student.
The abstract of this category should include thesis or projects or clinical cases information, background, study question, method, findings, discussion/conclusion.
Presentation Guidelines
In the Venue there will be PCs with Windows 11 and PowerPoint 2019.
Your oral presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Use the template attached on the right of the webpage, enriching it.
Otherwise, create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9, use high-contrast lettering, standard Windows fonts (Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman or Helvetica) with font size > 11.
QR Codes may be included, while for images and tables, excellent picture quality is essential.
The file name must have the form name_surname.pptx with file size less than 5 MB.
Save your presentation on a USB memory stick and as a backup on a cloud servise.
One of the author’s will have the opportunity to present his/her presentation for 10’, and the attendees will have time to discuss and ask questions about it.
Therefore, at least one of the authors must attend the FNAM 2024.

Otherwise, create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9, use high-contrast lettering, standard Windows fonts (Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman or Helvetica) with font size > 11.
